Twitterをアプリから利用する

ええっ申請がいるんですか!!アプリからTwitterを利用するためには、認証を通さないといけないんです。認証には、OAuth認証とxAuth認証があって前者はWebでの申請、後者はWebでの申請+メールの申請が必要みたいです。

とりあえず、アプリケーション登録申請はどちらでも必要なので、Webからさくっと申請してみます。

でも、OAuth認証だと「アプリケーションが、あなたのアカウントへの接続を要求しています。」っていう、確認をユーザにさせないといけないんです。
やっぱxAuthか〜ということで、メールで申請を上げてみます。
で、申請にはアプリケーションのスクリーンショットが必要!?まだ作ってねーよ。手書しかないです、ごめんなさい。
ワープロでちょこっと作ります。そしてメールに添付して送信。



返信が1日もかからずにあったのだけど

The only automated following behavior permitted by our policies is following a user back. All other actions must be done individually, and this means that "select all" buttons are not allowed.

Please let me know when your application has been updated to comply with our rules and include a link to an updated screenshot, and I will review it for xAuth.

指摘のユーザインタフェースを変更するのですが、この頃には開発環境でモックを作成してましたのでそちら側に修正を加えます。

やっとこさ、申請が通りアプリからxAuth認証が可能になりました。プログラミング以外の場所で、時間が結構かかります。
